A general evaluation of the problems of anatomy education in Turkey
A general evaluation of the problems of anatomy education in Turkey
Medical education development is a continuous process. Anatomy is the basis of medicine and needs to conform to therequirements of the era by applying new teaching methods and contributing to the development of scientists who can meetglobal standards. New visual materials and three-dimensional anatomy models are increasingly being used in anatomy training. The contribution of these methods to anatomy training will be substantial. However, it is obvious that the new educational methods will be more effective when used with cadavers, a classic and fundamental part of anatomy training. In thisreview, presenting the results of the various studies conducted on anatomy education, we aim to contribute to further studies on anatomy education and its curriculum in Turkey.
