Samsun ekolojik koşullarında son turfanda olarak plastik seralarda yetiştirilen bazı sebzelerin büyüme ve gelişmesi üzerine farklı sera havalandırma açıklıkları ve plastik tipinin etkisi

Karadeniz Bölgesinde turfandacılığın yeri ve önemi hergeçen gün artmaktadır. The effectsof different ventilation gaps and plastic fiilm covers on the growth and development of some vegetable crops grown in platic greenhouses at late autumn period under Samsun ecological conditions

Lately, the importance of growing vegetables out of normal growing season has been increasing. For this reason, different applications in terms of greenhouse construction and covering materials depending on reagional climatic characteristics have been developing. In the present study, the effects of different covering materials (normal plastic film and plastic film fortified with antifog substances) and ventilation gaps on the growth and development of cucumber, pepper, aubergine and tomato that are generally grown in the Black Sea Region were investigated. The effect of different covering materials on the growth and development of tried plants was found to be significant (p<0.05). However, better results were obtained from the application of plastic film fortified with antifog substances than the application of normal plastic film as covering material. The effect of roof ventilation on plant growth and development was also found to be significant (p<0".05). In connection with this, plant stem diameter, plant height, height increase rate, leaf appearance rate and flower bud appearance rate were affected for the plants grown in the greenhouses with roof ventilation depending on temperature. When plant growth and development were taken into consideration, plastic greenhouses which were covered with plastic films fortfied with antifog substances and fixed with roof ventilation suitable to the region were recommended to the growers.
