Nadir Bir Eagle Sendromu: İki Taraflı ve Aşırı Uzun Stiloid Çıkıntı

Eagle sendromu, uzamış stiloid çıkıntı veya kalsifiye stiloid ligaman, tekrarlayan boğaz ağrısı veya yabancı cisim hissi, boyun ağrısı, yutma güçlüğü veya yüz ağrısına yol açtığında oluşur. Ek olarak boyun ve boğaz ağrısı aynı taraf kulağa yansıyabilir. Eagle Sendromu’nun tedavisi asıl olarak cerrahidir. Stiloid çıkıntı ağız içinden veya dışarıdan boyun yaklaşımıyla kısaltılabilir. Eagle Sendromu yakınmalarına yol açan iki taraflı ve aşırı uzamış stiloid çıkıntıları olan 33 yaşında bir erkek hasta ilgili literatürün taraması ile birlikte bildirildi

An Unusual Case of Eagle's Syndrome: Bilateral and Extremely Elongated Styloid Processes

Eagle’s Syndrome occurs when an elongated styloid process or calcified stylohyoid ligament causes recurrent throat pain or foreign body sensation, neck pain, dysphagia, or facial pain. Additionally, neck or throat pain may radiate to the ipsilateral ear. The treatment of Eagle’s Syndrome is primarily surgical. The styloid process can be shortened through an intraoral or external cervical approach. A 33-year-old male patient with bilateral, extremely elongated styloid processes, causing the symptomatology of Eagle’s Syndrome with review of the pertinent literature
