Tarihsel Oluşumlar İle Siyasa Felsefesi Arasındaki Bağ Işığında Türk Dış Politikası: Yeni(Den) Odaklanma İhtiyacı

In the scope of contemporary political transformation, classic epistemological tools and concepts are not likely to suffice in understanding and interpreting the world phenomena. The world is going through a process where social forces and determinants incrementally tend to resemble those of a holonomic "global" society, . Within this systemic whole, states, not as sole and unproblematic actors of the international scene as assumed by some, but as adaptable and adaptive components of the global structure, will only reluctantly relinquish their influence in the political sphere;hence the concept of state has to be reevaluated and redefined hermeneutically but leaving no room for wanton interpretations. Thus, international affairs of governments and hereby that of Turkish foreign policy, will be attended to as what they really are: An element in the whole of social noemasis and noesis and hence a subject not of a discrete and isolated discipline but of the social sciences; mainly sociology.
