Alternatif projelerin değerlendirilmesi ve bunların arasından en cazip olanın seçimi, kısa ve uzun vadeli maden planlamalarında dikkatle ele alınması gereken önemli çalışmalardır. Birden fazla yatırım projelerini değerlendirme tekniğinin olması, değerlendirme çalışmaları açısından avantaj teşkil etmesine rağmen, tekniklerin ortaya koyduğu sonuçların birbirinden farklı olması, optimum kararların alınmasını zorlaştırmaktadır. Bu makalede, alternatif projelerin değerlendirilmesi ve seçiminde en fazla kullanılan net bugünkü değer ve iç karlılık oranı yöntemleri incelenmiş ve verilen bir örnekle de her iki tekniğin ortaya koyduğu sonuçlar yorumlanmıştır

For both short and long term mine planning, the evaluation of alternative investment projects and the selection of most feasible one among alternative projects, are important studies, which should be carefully managed. Although, to a significant extent, it may be advantegeous that there are a number of investment evaluation techniques for studies. However, the different results provided by these techniques cause optimum decisions a difficult task to be made. In this paper, net present value and internal rate of return methods are examined and with an illustrative example, the results obtained from both techniques are critically interpreted.
