AİLE YILMAZLIĞI: BİR ENGELE RAĞMEN BİRLİKTE GÜÇLENEN AİLE

Bu araştırmada, engelli çocuğa sahip olan ailelerde, aile yılmazlığının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, nitelbir çalışma olup, çalışma 6 çift olmak üzere 12 anne-baba ile görüşme yöntemi kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir.Araştırmaya ilişkin veriler Walsh (1998) Aile Yılmazlık Modeli ve araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen ÖzgünlükSistemi Modeli temel alınarak yapılandırılan “Aile Yılmazlık Görüşme Formu” aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Veriler, içerikanalizi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Bulgulara göre, ailelerin yılmazlıklarına katkı sağlayan en önemli etkenlerinsosyal destek, maneviyat, sahip oldukları pozitif bakış açısı, aile içerisindeki birbirlerine bağlılıkları, esnek olmalarıve özgünlük / ilişkisel özgünlük olduğu belirlenmiştir.

FAMILY RESILIENCE: GROWING AGAINST ALL THE ODDS OF EXCEPTIONALITY

In this study, it is aimed to investigate the family resilience in families with an exceptional child. This study isqualitative in nature and it is conducted on 6 married couples with parental interviewing method. Qualitative datawere collected with the Family Resilience Interviewing Form based on Walsh’s (1998) Family Resilience Model andAuthenticity System Model developed by the authors. Qualitative data were analyzed with content analysis. Majorfindings of the study appears to be that the most significant contributors of family resilience are social support,spirituality, maintaining positive view, intrafamily connectedness, flexibility and relational authenticity.
