Yaşam Kalitesi ve Mutluluk Kaynakları: Türkiye'deki Beş Yıldızlı Konaklama İşletmelerinin Yöneticileri Üzerine Pilot Bir Araştırma
Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye'deki beş yıldızlı konaklama işletmeleri yöneticilerinin yaşamdan duydukları tatmin düzeyleri ve onların mutluluk kaynaklarına verdiği önem düzeyleri arasında güçlü bir ilişki olup-olmadığını belirlemektir. Araştırma, yaşamdan duyulan tatmin ve mutluluk kaynaklarıyla ilgili tüm tanımlar yerine, yaşam alanı modeli (Andrews ve Witney, 1976; Campbell, Converse ve Rodgers, 1976) ve mutluluk kaynaklan modeline (Lu ve Shih, 1997) odaklanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular sonucunda, yöneticilerin yaşamdan duydukları tatmin düzeyleri ve onların mutluluk kaynaklarına verdiği önem düzeyleri arasında güçlü bir ilişki olmadığı belirlenmiştir.
The aim of the research is to determine if there is a strong relation between levels of life satisfaction of general managers of five star hotels in Turkey and their importance levels of sources of happiness. Rather than take an all-inclusive definition of life satisfaction and sources of happiness, the research focuses on life domain model (Andrews and Witney, 1976; Campbell, Converse and Rodgers, 1976) and sources of happiness model (Lu and Shih, 1997). Based on the findings of the research, it appears that there is not a strong relation between levels of life satisfaction of general managers and their importance levels of sources of happiness.
