A Survey About Consumer Expectations From News Portals

In this research, consumers who have access to the internet and who also visit news portals are examined in terms of their expectations and perceptions related to news portals. Differences between consumers' expectations and perceptions about news portals are investigated by statistical analyses. Thus, service quality of the most frequently used news portals are determined. According to the difference between expectations and perceptions, an intervening variable was created which contains three quality groups. Analysis of Variance is used to identify three quality groups' demographic and sociocultural characteristics. Data was collected by quota sampling from a group of 384 Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration undergraduate students.
