Tükenmişliği ölçmede alternatif bir araç: Kopenhag tükenmişlik envanterinin Marmara Üniversitesi Akademik personeli üzerine uyarlaması

Bu çalısma 2008’de Antalya’da Ulusal Yönetim ve Organizasyon Kongresinde sunulan ve özet olarak yayınlanan bildirinin, örnek sayısı arttırılarak genisletilmis ve detaylandırılmıs versiyonudur. Ana evrenin heterojen olduğu varsayımı ile örnek sayısı arttırılarak olusturulmus bu çalısmanın Kopenhag Tükenmislik Ölçeğinin (Copenhagen Burnout Inventory-CBI) Türkçe’de geçerlilik ve güvenilirliğini inceleme amacının yanında, yapılan bir önceki çalısmada bulunan güvenilirlik ve değiskenler arası iliski düzeyleri ile karsılastırılma hedefi de bulunmaktadır. Tükenmislik kavramını ölçen ve literatürde çok sık kullanılan Maslach Tükenmislik Envanterine (Maslach Burnout Inventory-MBI) göre kullanım kolaylığı, is dısı tükenmisliği ölçmesi, farklı kültürlerde kullanmaya elverislilik gibi üstünlüklere sahip olan CBI’ın Türkçe’ye geçerlemesinin sağlanması için yapılması gereken çalısmalardan biri olarak değerlendirilebilir. CBI’in Türkçe’de geçerlilik ve güvenilirliğini yapmak amacıyla 351 akademisyen üzerinde MBI, CBI, isten ayrılma niyeti ve yasam enerjisi arasındaki iliskiler incelenmistir. Her ne kadar CBI’ın Türkçe’de geçerlemesinin sağlanabilmesi için daha fazla arastırmalara gereksinim bulunmaktaysa da bu çalısmanın, sadece Marmara Üniversitesi Akademik Personeli üzerinde geçerliliğinin sinyalini vermekte olduğu söylenebilir.
