Opportunity recognition as the beginning of entrepreneurship

So the entrepreneurship process and the concept of opportunity will be described firstly. Then the differences between 'opportunity' and 'idea' will be stressed and the views regarding the nature of opportunities will be examined. In this context, some issues will be discussed, for example, whether opportunity is an objective or subjective phenomenon and whether it appears as a result of search or serendipity. Also, the views about the presence and formation of opportunities will be evaluated. Then the phenomenon of opportunity recognition will be discussed and its importance in entrepreneurship will be emphasized. Finally, the main opportunity recognition models in the literature will be demonstrated.
