Medikal akupunktur

Medical acupuncture

Acupuncture is applied to a lot of points described before for medical care of disorders in the body. It has been medical base and called complementary medicine by World Health Organization (WHO). It is scientific based complementary medical method and accepted by World Health Organization (WHO). It has been applied in China and other countries of Far East for 3000 years and spreading all over the world. Succesful results have been gained. Acupuncture is know to be an effective method. Nowadays, it has not been discussed if acupuncture is effective or not, but it has been discussed its mechanisms of effects. It is important to understand basis, history and philosophy of acupuncture. In this review, the philosophy of Yin-Yang, Five elements and Meridians were considered as the basis of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It was given information about jujube and methods of applying of acupuncture. Moreover, it has been considered mechanisms of acupuncture according to the literature.
