Erişkinde uzun süreli potent topikal steroid kullanımına bağlı cushing sendromu

Otuz iki yaşında bir erkek hasta psöriazis nedeniyle uzun süre topikal steroid kullanımına bağlı Cushing sendromu kliniği ile başvurdu. Topikal steroid kullanımına bağlı sistemik yan etkiler seyrek vakalar halinde literatürde bildirilmiştir. Uzun süreli topikal steroid kullanan hasta-larda ciddi yan etkilerin olabileceği konusunda hekim her zaman dikkatli olmalıdır. Ayrıca klobetasol propiyonat pomat haftada 50 gramı aşacak şekilde reçete edilme-meli ve tüm vücudu saracak şekilde uygulanmamalıdır.

Cushing’s syndrome depend on by a long term used topical steroid therapy for in adult psoriasis

A 32-year-old man developed manifestations of Cushing’s syndrome after long-term topical steroid therapy for psoriasis. There have only been a few reports of systemic side effects of topically applied corticosteroids. Considering their serious consequences physicians should be carefully to signs of Cushing’s syndrome in patients on long-term topical steroid therapy. Furthermore, clobetasol propionate ointment doses exceeding 50 g a week should not be prescribed and use of occlusive dressings should be avoided.
