Alında nedbeye bağlı kaş asimetrisi ve alın flebi ile onarımı

Amaç: Baş boyun bölgesindeki hareketli bir çift doku olan kaşlarımızın hiç değilse istirahat durumunda simetrik durması beklenir. Bu çalışmada, alında ortaya çıkan nedbe dokularını takiben gelişen asimetrik kaş duruşuna sahip 3 hasta sunuldu. Materyal ve Metot: Asimetrinin düzeltilmesi amacı ile kaşı tek taraflı olarak yükseltmeye zorlayan kontraktür serbestleştirildikten sonra ortaya çıkan defekt, 2 hastada aynı taraf tabanlı, 1 hastada ise karşı taraf tabanlı olarak kaldırılan orta hat alın flebi ile kapatıldı. Donör alanların primer onarıldığı hastalarımızın birinde 1, ikincisinde 2 ilave küçük düzeltme işlemi gerekli oldu. Bir hastaya tek ameliyatla yardımcı olduk. Hastalarımızın 3ü de erkek ve 20li yaşlarda idiler. Üçünde de alındaki nedbe dokusunun nedeni geçirilmiş tırafik kazalarıydı. Bulgular: Ameliyat sonrası bir hastanın kaşı hareket etme yeteneğine sahip iken 2 hastada sadece statik bir düzelme sağlanmış oldu. Sonuç: Orta hat alın flebi özellikle genç erkek hastalarda, alında meydana gelen nedbe dokularına bağlı asimetrik kaşın düzeltilmesinde etkin bir yöntem olabilir.

Eyebrow assymetry due to forehead scarring and its reconstruction with midline forehead flap

Background and aim: One of the paired and mobile structures of the head and neck, the eyebrows should be located symmetrically at least in resting position. Materials and Methods: Three patients with asymmetric eyebrow with forehead scarring received the release and midline forehead flap transposition. The flap was ipsilateral in two cases and contralateral in one. One and two more corrective operations were needed in two patients respectively, while the donor area was closed primarily. The patients were male and in their twenties. The reason for the scarring was the same for all: traffic accident. Results: Only one patient was able to make some movements to his reconstructed eyebrow following operation. We obtained symmetry only in resting situation and no movements in left two patients. Conclusions: The midline forehead flap transposition following release insicion above the eyebrow can be an effective technique for fixed eyebrow elevation in young male patients.
