The studies have investigated on the impact of Pierre Bourdieu on the theories of InternationalRelations (IR) are still insufficient. This article aims to analyze how Bourdieu can contributeto the discipline of International Relations. In this context, it will first cover the discussionson how Bourdieusian analysis has evaluated epistemologic and ontologic problems, it will thenadapt the main ideas and concepts of Bourdieu to the IR. The main thesis of this article isthat Bourdieusian perspectif provides convincing answers to the problems that exist within thediscipline of International Relations at the meta-theoretical level. In otherwise, it argues thatthe inter-paradigmatic complementarity is possible within the discipline and the concepts havedevelopped by Pierre Bourdieu allow to fill the gaps of the mainstreams theories.
