ÜNİVERSİTE ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN SOSYAL SORUMLULUK TEMELLİ LİDERLİK BECERİLERİNİN GELİŞTİRİLMESİNE YÖNELİK DENEYSEL BİR ÇALIŞMA

Bu makalenin amacı araştırma kapsamında oluşturulan Sosyal Sorumluluk Temelli Liderlik (SSTL) Eğitim Programının üniversite öğrencilerinin sosyal sorumluluk, liderlik, vatandaşlık, değişim oluşturma, ortak amaç etrafında işbirliği halinde uyumlu bir şekilde çalışma, kendini tanıma gibi davranışlarına etkisini incelemektir. Yapılan bu çalışma kapsamında 12 haftalık Sosyal Sorumluluk Temelli Liderlik Eğitim Programı hazırlanarak deney grubu oluşturulmuş ve öğrencilere eğitim verilip eğitimin öğrencilere etkisi belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışma, ön test-son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen olarak tasarlanmıştır. Çalışma grubu olarak 2013-2014 eğitim öğretim yılında Kilis 7 Aralık Üniversitesi öğrencileri seçilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuca göre eğitim programını alan öğrencilerde eğitimi almayan öğrencilere göre Sosyal Sorumluluk Temelli Liderlik algıları ve alt boyutlardan Medeni Tartışma, Değişim, Uyum, İşbirliği, Sorumluluk ve Vatandaşlık boyutlarında anlamlı farklar bulunmuştur. Bu çalışma kapsamında yapılan araştırmalar sonucunda öğrencilerin bir gruba liderlik etme becerilerinin ve sosyal sorumluluk bilincinin gelişmesinde eğitimin etkili olduğu ve bu şekilde verilen eğitimlerle üniversite öğrencilerinin topluma daha fazla katkı sağlayacak etkinliklere katılımının artırılarak toplumsal değişime liderlik etme becerilerini geliştirmeleri önemli görülmektedir

AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ABOUT DEVELOPING UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS' SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE LEADERSHIP SKILLS

The aim of this study was to examine the effects of the socially responsible leadership (SRL) education program, which was established as a part the research, about the university students' behaviors such as consciousness of self, social responsibility, leadership, citizenship, creating change in a manner of harmonious cooperation, and cooperating around a common purpose. At this study, a twelve week socially responsible leadership program was applied to the participants and examined its effects on the students. This study was realized by pretestposttest quasi experimental design with a control group. The students from Kilis 7 Aralık University in the academic year of 2013-2014 were selected as a working group. According to the results of the study, a significant difference was found among the students, who received the program and who did not in terms of socially responsible leadership perceptions and its dimensions such as controversy with civility, change, congruence, collaboration, commitment, and citizenship. The results of the study indicate that the training program is effective to improve the student's ability to lead a group and the consciousness of social responsibility. It is important to conclude that the students can lead to social change in the society by having SRL and such training
