Camp David Sonrası ABD-Mısır Yakınlaşması: Askeri Boyut

Camp David süreciyle birlikte ABD ile Mısır arasında bir yakınlaşma başlamıştır. Bu yakınlaşmanın kritik boyutlarından birisi askeri boyuttur. Askeri alanda Mısır Ordusu ABD'yle silah antlaşmaları, ortak tatbikatlar, maddi yardımlar, ortak operasyonlar, istihbarat çalışmaları gibi birçok farklı konuda işbirliği gerçekleştirmiştir. Bu çalışma içerisinde Sedat ve Mübarek dönemlerinde Mısır ile ABD arasındaki ilişkinin askeri boyutu incelenmiştir. 2011-2013 yıllarında yaşanan siyasi olayları daha iyi kavramak adına iki ülke arasındaki bu yakınlaşmayı anlamak faydalı olacaktır.

U.S-Egypt Rapprochement After Camp David: Military Dimension

A rapprochement between U.S and Egypt has started with the Process of Camp David. One of the critical aspects of this rapprochement is military dimension. In military area, Egyptian Army has realized cooperation with United States on many different topics such as arms sales, joint exercises, financial aids, joint operations, investigation practices. So, U.S has aimed to provide an army that work with itself in cooperation for its regional policies. In this work, military dimension of relationship between United States and Egypt after the term of Camp David Processhas been examined. It has been given placed to data on contents and costs of arms agreements that has been signed by United States and Egypt. The economic aids in military area that the United States has performed to Egypt has been mentioned. It has been emphasized the works and operations between U.S-Egypt. Thus, it has been intended to reflect the military aspect of rapprochement between U.S-Egypt. To understand better the happening political events in years of 2011-2013, it would be utilized to understand of this rapprochement between two countries.
