Bu makalede din sosyolojisinin oldukça yeni bir çalışma alanı olduğu gerçeğinden hareketle Türkiye'de bu alandaki çalışmaların belli başlı sorunları üzerinde durulmaktadır. Gündelik hayatın din, toplum, siyaset ve devlet sarmalında şekillenen yanları bugün din sosyolojisinin en önemli uğraşları arasında yer almaktadır. Türkiye'de Din sosyolojisi çalışmalarının bugün ulaştığı nokta öznellik, nesnellik sorunlarını göz ardı ederek tartışılamaz. Çalışma bu çerçevede gerçekleştirilen bir değerlendirme olarak görülmelidir.

This article, relying on the fact that sociology of religion is a new area of research, deals with the main problems of such studies in Turkey. The main topics that today sociology of religion mostly dwells on are the aspects of daily life which are shaped on the axis of religion, society, politics, and the state. The position that studies of sociology of religion has today cannot be criticized without taking the issues of objectivity and subjectivity into consideration. This article is an evaluation carried on in this framework.
