NECİP FAZIL KISAKÜREK AND TURKISH LANGUAGE

In this study, an important poet of the Turkish Republic era poetry Necip Fazil trough poetry often given place "duplication" s emphasize again that these functions. It is known that Necip Fazıl generally used the themes such as God, man, death, woman, city, nature and homeland in his works with different narrative styles and duplication. The duplication occurs most frequently in his works. They also include hendiadyion. The duplication is one of the best means in Turkish to convey the author’s ideas and thoughts and it became a dominant means in Fazıl’s poems. Even we could claim that the poems were created by it. Verse and expression duplication are frequently used in his works. The duplication occurs in two ways in Fazıl’s poem: one is verse repeated or some parts of the verse are repeated. It seems that it is used purposely to take attention of the reader to the rhythm of the poem. The poem titled “Otel Odalarında” is a poem of repetition or duplication. The sooty lamps of the hotel rooms are representing mercy. The moldy mirros are displaying faces. A man who was killed is sitting on one of the broken tables. On dingy sofas the voices of secrets are reverberating. We can hear the pulses of suffering from the holes of nails. Time is biting the woods in ceiling gaps. İsli lambalar, küflü aynalar, kırık masalar, izbe sofalar, çivi delikleri ve tavan araları are witnesses. These are the core of the poem. By duplication the message is given strongly. “geçti geçti mevsimler” and “hani” are repeated twice in poem “Geçti, geçti. And “eski iklimler” are also repeated twice. All these are strengthening the expression of the poem. And they are the expressions of recalling good past memories. Another striking point of the poem is that there is a plural ending. The poem is made up of twelve couplets and ten of them end with plural ending as +1Ar. It reinforces the verse. “Çoğu gitti, azı kaldı” are repeated ten times in poem titled “Nakarat”. It suits the verse properly and it conveys true message of the poem. As we live we appreciate the value of life, as we dig we appreciate the value of mountain, as we are born we appreciate the importance of the day, as we plant we appreciate the importance of bringing up something. Finally, the true value and importance of the poem will be appreciated in time and it will turn into being something sacred. The idiom is the most important part of the poem’s harmony which has half repetitions. We should bear in my mind the repetitions as “kişne kır at, kırk gün kırk gece, ektik ektik”. The word groups and verbs in “Sayıklama” are descriptive and expressive. The cat spins “hırıl hırıl”. Iis turned around one fırıl fırıl. A place and a thing are watched and seen pırıl pırıl. The desire can flow şırıl şırıl. It is talked by one mırıl mırıl. The repetitions are used to specify the couplets. The verses thanks to these repetitions are like talking verses. The reflections of the poem are highly acoustic. The similar situation is seen in Fazıl’s another poem called “Bizim Yunus”. The repeated word “bizim” was not used for creating harmony only. The poet repates “Bizim Yunus” at the end of each couplet to show the feeling of possession and make himself identify with Yunus. The poem is made up of 24 lines and six of them are different from the rest. Six lines are the same and the other twelve lines are the same. We could say that the poem is just made up of repetitions. These repetitions make the poem unique. O Var is about the existence and unity of God. O Var with its repetitions aims to give the message of existence. Some couplets of the poem were constructed by binary opposition as being and absence. O Var gives the poem its main significance. O Var is demonstrating God’s uniqueness and unity. Dua is about the main traits of God. Allahım affet at the end of each line is a repetition. Allahım affet which is rhymed is like a conversation with music. The poem titled Ses consists of couplet and expression repetition. Pırıl pırıl atmosphere, refined last word, and feeling feeling man. These are repeated expressions. The line “Ses geliyor ormandan” is repeated at the end of each chapter. Ses, seda, all these are information messages. Man can hope with these news and information and becomes hopeful and happy. The repetition of line “ses geliyor ormandan” has such a significance mentioned above. The first and last line of poem titled Geliyorum is the same. The verses consist of one word. As each word at the beginning and end of the verse is repeated, five words are repeated twice and it is repeated ten times automatically. It seems that the poem is based on those repeated five words. “Geliyorum, meliyorum, deliyorum, eliyorum, çeliyorum” are the other striking points of the poem and its title and tense are other characteristics. We see similar repetitions in such poems as O Zeybek”, “Gidiyorum”, “Müjde”, “Uykusuz Baş”. The repetitions are demonstrating how the poet tries hard to create a musical harmony in his poems. As a result, duplications in the artist's poetry provides the durability in mind that these poems, a sehl-i mümtenî creates, harmony and musicality of emphasis reflects the sensitivity of a poet, a poet he cares about "Islamic generation" reinforces the goal.
