Çok eski dönemlerden günümüze kadar kadınlara ilişkin pek çok sorun alanı var olmuştur. Kadına ilişkin problemlerin niteliği ve geliştirilen çözüm önerileri o toplumun yapısı hakkında çok önemli ipuçları vermektedir. Kadının eğitimi ve eğitim imkânlarına ulaşımı konusu da bunlardan biridir. Modern dünyanın getirilerinden biri olan eğitim konusu pek çok araştırmaya konu olmuş, gerek yerel ölçekte gerekse karşılaştırmalı örnekler ile ele alındığında küresel ölçekte konuya ilişkin çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Sadece bireysel gelişim için değil aynı zamanda toplumsal gelişim içinde bir gereklilik olarak eğitim her zaman önemi kabul edilen ancak hala istenilen düzeye ulaşılamamış bir noktada karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Konuyla ilgili olarak pek çok sorun alanında olduğu gibi eğitim alanında da gençlerin duruma bakışı önemli görülmektedir. Buradan hareketle söz konusu çalışmada üniversite eğitimi gören gençlerin gözünden kadın eğitimi değerlendirilecektir. Bu noktada Bursa Teknik Üniversitesi’nde öğrenim gören 160 öğrenciye anket uygulanmıştır. Anket verileri SPSS 16.0 programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan veri analizi sonucunda gençlerin toplumsal cinsiyet rollerinin etkisinde kalmadan eşitlikçi bir tavırla kadın eğitiminin katkılarını vurgulayan noktalarda cevap verdikleri görülmüştür. Çalışmada üzerinde durulan diğer noktalar gençlerin eğitim gören kızların sayısını yeterli bulmamaları ve kız çocuklarının eğitiminin yarıda kalmasının en büyük nedeni olarak eğitim sistemini görmeleridir. Ortaya konulan bir diğer önemli analiz ise gençlerin, eğitimli kadın sayısının artması ile ülkenin gelişmişlik düzeyinin artacağını düşünmeleridir.

There have been many problematic areas about women for a long while. The content of the problems related to the women and the proposed solutions are very important clues about the structure of the society. Women's education and access to education is one of the problems. The education that has become increasingly important with the modern world and it has been subject to many researches. When comparative examples are considered both at the local scale and at the global scale, it is seen that studies on the subject have been made. Not only for individual development but also as a necessity in social development, education has always been regarded as an important but still unattainable area. Young people's point of view is also very important with regard to the issue of education as it is in other topics. For this reason, women's education will be evaluated in view of young people who are studying in university. At this point, 160 student questionnaires were applied at Bursa Technical University. Survey data were analyzed by SPSS 16.0 program. As a result of the data analysis, it was revealed that young people responded in an equitable manner by responding to the points emphasizing the contribution of women's education without being influenced by gender roles. Another point that is emphasized in the study is that the participants should not find the number of the girls who are educated enough and see the education system as the greatest cause of their leaving their education. It is an important result of the analysis of this research that young people considers that increasing the number of educated women will increase the level of development of the country.
