A new species of Oxyoppia ( Oxyoppiella ) (Acari: Oribatida: Oppiidae) from Iran

A new species of Oxyoppia ( Oxyoppiella ) (Acari: Oribatida: Oppiidae) from Iran

A new oppiid species (Acari: Oribatida: Oppiidae), Oxyoppia(Oxyoppiella) minuscula sp. nov. from the Marand regionin northwestern East Azerbaijan Province in Iran, is described and illustrated. A new generic (subgeneric) diagnosis ofOxyoppia (Oxyoppiella) Subías and Rodríguez, 1986 is given, and a key to all known species is provided.
