VA-Mycorrhiza’n›n Alkalin ve Asit Toprakta Yetifltirilen M›s›r Bitkisinin Geliflimi ile Fosfor, Çinko, Demir, Bak›r ve Mangan Konsantrasyonlar› Üzerine Etkisi

Bu araflt›rman›n amac›, VA Mycorrhiza’n›n alkalin ve asit reaksiyonlu topraklarda yetifltirilen m›s›r bitkisinin P, Zn, Fe ,Cu ve Mn’dan yararlanmas› üzerine etkisini araflt›rmakt›r. Bu amaçla, steril edilmifl alkalin ve asit toprakta m›s›r (Zea mays L. cv. Fanion) bitkisi yetifltirilerek serada kurulan denemede, tüm saks›lara ekimden önce çözelti fleklinde 100 mg N g-1 (üre gübresinden) ve 40 mg K g-1 (K2SO4 gübresinden) uygulanm›flt›r. Fosfor uygulanacak saks›lara 40 mg P g-1 (TSP gübresinden), VA Mycorrhiza inoküle edilecek saks›lara ise Glomus etunicatum ve Glomus intraradices türleri kar›fl›m› uygulanm›flt›r. Mycorrhizal enfeksiyon yüzdesi alkalin reaksiyonlu toprakta % 48,3, asit reaksiyonlu toprakta ise % 68,3 olarak bulunmufltur. M›s›r bitkisinin kuru a¤›rl›¤› VA Mycorrhiza ve fosfor uygulamas›yla kontrole göre her iki toprakta da artm›flt›r. M›s›r bitkisinin fosfor konsantrasyonu VA Mycorrhiza uygulamas›yla kontrole göre alkalin toprakta de¤iflmezken, asit toprakta artm›flt›r. Deneme bitkisinin çinko konsantrasyonu her iki toprakta da VA Mycorrhiza uygulamas›yla artm›fl, fosfor uygulamas›yla ise azalm›flt›r. Alkalin ve asit reaksiyonlu toprakta yetifltirilen m›s›r bitkisinin demir konsantrasyonu üzerine uygulamalar›n etkisi önemli bulunmazken bak›r ve mangan konsantrasyonlar› her iki toprakta da en fazla VA Mycorrhiza uygulamas›nda artm›flt›r.

Effects of VA-Mycorrhiza on Growth and Phosphorus, Zinc, Iron, Copper and Manganese Concentrations of Maize Grown in Acid and Alkaline Soils

The aim of this study was to determine the effects of VA Mycorrhiza on P, Zn, Fe, Cu and Mn uptake by maize grown in alkaline and acid soils. For this purpose, maize was grown in sterilized alkaline and acid soils under greenhouse conditions by applying 100 mg N g -1 (as urea) and 40 mg K g -1 (as K 2 SO 4 ) as solution to the soils. 40 mg P g -1 (as TSP) was added to the pots that P was applied to, and a mixture of Glomus etunicatumand Glomus intraradiceswas inoculated to the pots that VA Mycorrhiza was applied to. Application of VA Mycorrhiza and P increased the dry weight of maize in both soils with respect to the control. The mycorrhizal infection of roots was determined as 48.3 % and 68.3 % in alkaline and acid soils, respectively. Compared with the control, while inoculation with VA Mycorrhiza did not affect the P concentration of maize in alkaline soil, it increased the P concentration in acid soil. In contrast to P application, inoculation with VA Mycorrhiza increased the zinc concentration of maize in both soils. The Fe con- centration was not affected by applying VA Mycorrhiza and P. On the other hand, inoculation with VA Mycorrhiza led to an increase in Cu and Mn concentrations of the experimental plant in both soils.
