Bu yazı Türkiye’de kütüphanecilik alanına değerli katkıları bulunan Prof. Dr. Berin Yurdadoğ’u anmak üzerine kaleme alınmıştır. Bir Cumhuriyet kadını olan Yurdadoğ, yaşadığı tüm zorluklara karşın her zaman mesleğin en önemli savunucularından biri olmuş ve gerek öğrencilerine gerekse topluma önemli değerler kazandırmıştır. This text written on commemoration to Prof. Berin Yurdadoğ who has contained valuable contributions to librarianship in Turkey. Ms. Yurdadoğ, as a republican woman has always been the most important advocate of the profession despite all the difficulties she has experienced and has brought significant values to both her students and the society. She worked tirelessly in the most difficult periods of the republic and took an important place in our history.
