Değişen Koleksiyonlar Değişen Kullanıcılar

Bu yazıda bir üniversite kütüphanesinde/bilgi merkezinde “yayın sağlama” alanında yapılan süreçler üzerinde durulmuştur. Sabancı Üniversitesi Bilgi Merkezi’nde kullanılan adıyla “Koleksiyon Oluşturma ve Geliştirme” sürecinde yaşanan deneyimlerin yıllar içinde nasıl değiştiği ve geliştiği ayrıntılı bir şekilde ele alınmış ve bu deneyimden yararlanmak isteyen diğer kurumlara örnek teşkil etmesi amaçlanmıştır.

Changing Collections Changing Users

Thispaperfocuses onprocesses in the “acquisitions’’fieldwithin the library/information center ofa university. Besides, we examine in details that how the experiences gained in the “collection development” process, aswe call within the Sabancı University Information Center, have been changed and developed throughout years. Thus, we are expecting that the aforementioned experiences serve as a modelfor the other institutions, which interest benefitingfrom them.
