Bu çalışmada Pisuara consocia (O.P.-Cambridge, 1872) ve Dolomedes plantarius (Clerk, 1757) (Araneae: Pisauridae) türleri sitogenetik açıdan araştırılmıştır. Kromozom preparatlarının hazırlanması Traut (1976) ve Cokendolpher & Brown (1985) metodunda bazı değişiklikler yapılarak hazırlanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda Pisuara consocia ve Dolomedes plantarius türlerinin diploid kromozom sayıları sırasıyla 2n=28 (26 + X1X2) ve 2n=26 (24 + X1X2 ) olarak bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, türlerin karyotipleri hazırlanmış ve mayoz bölünme esnasındaki kromozom davranışları gösterilmiştir.

In this study, Pisuara consocia (O.P.-Cambridge, 1872) and Dolomedes plantarius (Clerk, 1757) (Araneae: Pisauridae) were cytogenetically investigated. Chromosome preparations were made according to the spreading technique described by Traut (1976) and Cokendolpher & Brown (1985) with some modifications. At the result of study; diploid chromosome numbers for Pisuara consocia and Dolomedes plantarius were determined 2n=28 (26 + X1X2) and 2n=26 (24 + X1X2 ), respectively. Besides, karyotypes and chromosome behaviours during meiosis division were made.
