Bu çalışmada farklı gramaj ve hammaddelere (selüloz ve poliester kombinasyonları) sahip dokusuz yüzey ıslak mendil kumaşlarının fiziksel, mekanik, sıvı absorbsiyon ve transfer davranışları incelenmiştir. Islak mendiller, koruyucu içermeyen doğal içerikli ıslatıcıların (gülsuyu, zeytinyağı ve fonksiyonel bileşenlerle kombinasyonları) spreylenmesiyle üretilmiştir. Farklı özelliklerdeki sıvıların farklı hammadde ve fiziksel özelliklere sahip dokusuz yüzey kumaşları ıslatmaları ve yapıda homojen bir şekilde belirli bir raf ömrü boyunca kalmaları açılarından önemli olan temel sıvı absorbsiyon ve transfer özelliklerine (damla testi, kapilar ıslanma, absorbsiyon kapasitesi, absorbsiyon süresi, kuruma, raf ömrü) yoğunlaşılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlaragöre, kumaş mukavemeti ile sıvı transfer davranışları arasında anlamlı ilişkiler tespit edilmiş, ıslatıcıya eklenen sodyum alginatın ıslak mendilin raf ömrünü artırdığı tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, physical, mechanical and liquid absorption and transport characteristics of wet wipe fabrics consisting of nonwoven fabrics having different materials (cellulose and polyester combinations) and weights were investigated. Wet wipes were produced by spraying with natural based liquid contents (combinations of rose water and olive oil with different functional components) without preservatives. Main liquid absorption and transfer characteristics (drop, wicking, absorption capacity, absorption time, drying, shelf life tests) were the main focus which affect homogenious distribution of the liquid content and sufficient shelf lives which differ according to fabric and liquid content properties. According to the results, significantrelationships were obtained between strength and liquid transfer characteristics of the fabrics. Moreover, sodium alginate increased the shelf lives of the wet wipes.
