KOSOVA’DAKİ ARNAVUT GÖÇMENLERİN SIRBİSTAN’A KARŞI FAALİYETLERİ

1877-1878 Osmanlı-Rus Savaşı'na katılan Sırplar, Arnavutların ağırlıkta yaşadıkları Niş, Şehirköy, Ürküp gibi yerleri işgal etmişler ve buradaki Arnavutlar da Kosova'ya göç etmişlerdir. Savaş sonunda imzalanan Berlin Antlaşması ile bu yerler Sırbistan'a bırakılınca, göçler artmıştır. Özellikle de etnik açıdan "homojen" bir toprak yaratmak isteyen Sırbistan, uygulamalarıyla da göçleri hızlandıracaktır. Bu durumu hazmedemeyen ve vatanlarından olmayı kabul edemeyen Arnavutlar ise sık sık Sırp sınırına saldırıda bulunacaklardır. Arnavutların Sırbistan'a geri dönüşü için Osmanlı Devleti girişimlerde bulununca Sırbistan bu konuda gerekli önlemleri alıyormuş gibi görünecektir. Ancak gerçekte dönmemeleri için çalışacak ve sorun da devam edecektir. Bu çalışmada tarafların duruma dair tutumları irdelenecektir

Anti-Serbia Activities of Albanian Immigrants in Kosovo

The Serbian, who participated in Ottoman-Russian War of 1877-1878, invaded the settlements such as Niş (Niš), Şehirköy (Pirot) and Ürküp (Prokuplye), where the Albanian lived mainly, and these Albanians immigrated to Kosovo. When these locations were given to Serbia, with the Treaty of Berlin, which was signed at the end of the war, the number of immigrants increased. Desiring to create a “homogeneous” territory particularly in terms of ethnicity, Serbia would also make this immigration process gain speed. Albanians, who could not accept the circumstance and being deprived of their homeland, would frequently attack to the Serbian border. When the Ottoman Empire intervened in the Albanian’s return to Serbia, Serbia would pretend to be taking the necessary measures, in this matter. However actually, Serbia would strive for preventing the Albanian’s return, and thus the problem would continue. In this study, the attitudes of the parties with regard to this situation are to be analyzed.
