HZ. MUHAMMED’İN TASVİRİNİN/TEMSİLİNİN TOPLUMSAL BAĞLAMLARI: ORTAÇAĞ NAKKAŞLARI VE MODERN DÖNEM SİNEMACILARI

Bazı ülkelerde Hz. Muhammed'in karikatürlerinin yayınlanması ve bazı filmlerde açık tasvirinin yapılması ve bu eylemlerin ifade hürriyetini, basın özgürlüğünü suiistimal derecesinde hiciv ve ironi barındırması Müslüman ülkelerde büyük infiallere sebep olmuştur. Oysaki Müslüman toplumların kültürlerinde, özellikle Ortaçağ nakkaşlarının minyatürlerinde Hz. Muhammed'e dair pek çok tasvirin bulunduğu bir gerçektir. Bu çalışma, böylesi bir tarihi gerçekliğin hangi sosyal şartlara dayandığını, halihazırda özellikle sinema alanında sıkı bir şekilde uygulanmaya çalışılan tasvir yasağının ne ölçüde geçerli mazeretlerinin bulunduğunu ele alacaktır

The Social Contexts of Depiction/Representation of Prophet Mohammad: The Medieval Age Miniaturists and Movie Makers of Modern Age

The publication of Prophet Mohammad's cartoons and his representation at some movies then inclusion of those actions satirically and ironically abusing the freedom of expression and the press in some countries has occurred to great indignation in Muslim countries. However, it is true in the culture of Muslim societies Prophet Mohammad has been depicted many times, especially by Medieval age miniaturists. This study deals with this historical reality lies to which social circumtances, and what are the valid excuses to the banned representation of Prophet Mohammad in which strictly implemented in cinema
