Eğitim Dergisi 1951 ve 1958 yılları arasında yayınlanmıştır. Yaklaşık sekiz yıl yayın hayatına devam eden dergi aylık olarak yayınlanmış, dönemin eğitim sorunları yanında eğitim dışında yazı ve makalelere de yer vermiştir. Bu araştırmanın amacı Eğitim Dergisi'nin Türk eğitim tarihindeki yeri ve önemi hakkında bilgi vermek, derginin ülkenin eğitimi açısından taşıdığı değeri ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma betimsel modelde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Derginin tüm sayıları araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak incelenmiş, biçimsel ve içerik açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Bu çerçevede derginin çıkış amacı, derginin biçimsel yapısına değinilmiş, içerik özellikleri olarak da yazar kadrosu ve dergide yayımlanan makale ve yazıların özellikleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiş, derginin ülke eğitimi açısından taşıdığı önem vurgulanmaya çalışılmıştır

Eğitim Dergisi was published between 1951 and 1958. The journal which continued its publication life for about eight years, was monthly and it gave place both to education issues of its own time and to non-educational writings and articles. The aims of this research are to inform about the place and importance of Eğitim Dergisi in Turkish Education History and to reveal the value of the journal in view of country's education. The research was performed in descriptive method. All of the issues of journal was examined in accord with the aims of the research, and was evaluated from the points of its form and content. In this frame, the journal's aim of origin and its formal structure are mentioned, as content features; the knowledge about author staff, and the features of articles and writings published in the journal is given, and the importance of the journal in view of country's education is tried to be stressed.
