Tıp Eğitiminde Kullanılan Etkileşimli Videolar ile İlgili Öğrenci Görüşlerinin İncelenmesi

Bu çalışmanın amacı, tıp fakültesiöğrencilerinin etkileşimli videolar hakkındakigörüşlerinin tespit edilmesi ve bu görüşlerdoğrultusunda etkileşimli videoların tıp eğitimindekiöneminin ortaya konulmasıdır.Materyal/Yöntem: Çalışmanın katılımcıları AtatürkÜniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi'nde öğrenim gören veetkileşimli video uygulamasına katılan 12 öğrencidir.Bu etkileşimli video; "Otizm nedir?", "Otizmbelirtileri nelerdir?", "Otistik bir çocuk diğerlerindennasıl ayırt edilir?" ve "Otizm muayenesi nasılyapılır?" konularını kapsamaktadır. Bu çalışma nitelaraştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan durumçalışmasıdır. Bu çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarakgörüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Veriler ise içerik analizikullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Sonuçlar: Öğrenciler etkileşimli videoları otizmbelirtilerinin öğrenilmesi ve teşhis konulmasınıkolaylaştırması açısından uygun bulmuşlardır. Ayrıcaöğrenciler bu videoların farklı konulardauygulanabilirliğine yönelik olumlu görüşbildirmişledir.Tartışma: Öğrencilerin tıp eğitiminde etkileşimlivideoların kullanılmasını olumlu olarakdeğerlendirdikleri görülmüştür. Bu nedenle tıpeğitiminde etkileşimli videolar, teşhis koymanın zorolduğu psikiyatrik hastalıkların eğitimindekullanılabilir. Ayrıca bu videolar olguların izlenmesinive bu olgulara göre teşhis konulmasını gerektirenkonularda kullanılabilir

Examination of Student Views Concerning Interactive Videos Used in Medical Education

The objective of this study is to identifythe views of students of medicine concerning interactive videos and make inferences about the importance of such videos in medical education in linewith the views of students.Materials/Methodology: The participants to thesurvey consisted of 12 students from the School ofMedicine of Atatürk University who took part ininteractive video practice. This video covers theissues of "What is autism", "What are its symptoms", "How to distinguish an autistic child fromothers" and "How to examine for autism". It was acase study as one of the methods of qualitative survey. Interview forms were used as instruments ofdata collection and collected data were examinedthrough content analysis. Outcomes: Students found interactive videos usefulin that it facilitates learning about the symptoms anddiagnosing autism. Students also made positivestatements about the application of such videos indifferent contexts. Discussion: It is found that students consider theuse of interactive videos in medical education positively. Hence, interactive videos may be used inmedical education particularly in the context of psychiatric disorders where diagnosing is relatively difficult. Further, videos may also be used in monitoringspecific cases and making diagnosis accordingly
