Gündelik Hayatın Sosyolojisi

Gündelik hayatın sosyolojisi, mikro perspektiflerden oluşan geniş bir yelpazeyi bünyesinde ihtiva eder: Sembolik etkileşimcilik, dramaturji, fenomenoloji, etnometodoloji ve varoluşsal sosyoloji. Bu farklı alt-alanları, sosyal etkileşim incelemesinde bütünleşik bir yaklaşım temelinde birbiriyle irtibatlandıran ana konumları tartışacağız. Gelişim halinde olan bu teorik akımın biçimlenmesine katkı sağlayan şahsiyetlere, fikirlere ve kuşatıcı bağlama işaret ederek gündelik hayat sosyolojisinin tarihsel gelişimini özetleyeceğiz. Hemen akabinde gündelik hayat sosyolojisi içinde- önem arzeden teorik, tözel ve metodolojik ilerlemeyi yansıtan- üç çağdaş gelişmeyi inceleyeceğiz: Varoluşsal sosyoloji, duygular sosyolojisi ve karşılıklı konuşma analizi. Bu alanlar içindeki başlıca temaları özetleyip, yakın zamana ait literatürü gözden geçireceğiz ve ardından onların sosyolojiye katkılarını ele alıp değerlendireceğiz. Gündelik hayat sosyolojisi, büyük teorileri farklı türden mikro-makro sentezleri yapmaya teşvik etmek suretiyle kendi alanı dışında da etkili olmuştur. Bu sentezleri ve onların gündelik hayat mevzularıyla bağlantısını tetkik edeceğiz. Başlıca eleştirileri tartışıp bir sonuca varacağız ve bu perspektifin geleceğe yönelik vaatlerini ve problemlerini ortaya koyacağız
