Yeniköy'de Yaşayan Arnavut Göçmenler Üzerine Sosyolojik Bir Araştırma

Yeniköy, Aydın ilinin Koçarlı ilçesine bağlı bir belediyedir. Yeniköy, etnik bakımdan birbirinden farklı iki grup olan Arnavutlar ve Yöriiklerin birlikte yaşadığı bir beldedir. Arnavutlar ve Yörükler ayrı mahallelerde yerleşmişlerdir. Nüfusun büyük bir çoğunluğunu Arnavutlar oluşturur. Genel olarak Arnavutların ana kültürle uyum sorunu yoktur. Arnavutlar gelenekleri ve görenekleriyle özgün bir toplumsal gruptur. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Arnavutların temel toplumsal-kültürel özelliklerini, gelenek ve göreneklerindeki başlıca değişmeleri ve Türklerle ilişkilerini araştırmaktır. Ayrıca Türkler ve Arnavutlar arasındaki ilişkilerin Türkiye toplumsal yapısı açısından taşıdığı öneme dikkat çekmektir. Bu araştırma yaklaşık iki yıl sürdürülen görüşmeler neticesinde tamamlanmıştır. Aynı zamanda fotoğraf ve kamera çekimlerinden de yararlanılmıştır.

Yeniköy is municipality located in Koçarlı district of Aydın. Yeniköy is a place in which two different ethnic groups, Albanians and Yörüks, live together. However, each has concentrated in two distinct neighbourhoods. The majority of the population in Yeniköy consists of Albanians. In general they form a distinctive social group with their own customs and traditions. The aim of the research is to investigate the main cultural characteristics of Albanians; their historically changing positions, their relationship to Turkish population and major changes in their traditions and customes. Morever, this research aims at attracting some attention to the importance of the relationship between Albenians and Turks in terms of the Turkish social structure. The research was carried out between 2002-2004. Interviews were mainly used for collecting data. In adition, during the fieldwork we have taken photographs and made some video recordings. Both were used for the purpose of collecting data.
