DİSTOPİK ROMANLARDA TOPLUMSAL KURGU

Distopik romanlar yazıldıkları dönemin, siyasal, teknolojik ve sosyal durumundan hareketle geliştirilmiş geleceğe yönelik kurgulardan oluşan eserlerdir. Genellikle çağdaş toplumun unsurlarını içeren ve bazı modern eğilimlerin sakıncalarına karşı uyarı niteliği taşır, modern toplumu bekleyen olumsuz geleceği veya durumu anlatırlar.Türün temel özelliği ütopya karşıtı bir düşünceden hareket ederek, kötümser bir gelecek tablosu çizmesidir. Eserlerin hemen hemen tamamında son derece merkezileşmiş baskıcı sistem yüksek teknolojiyi toplumu kolay yönetebilmek için kullanan baskıcı totaliter rejimlerin hâkimiyeti altında bir geleceğe işaret etmesidir.Distopik romanlarda amorf bir sosyal yapı dikkati çeker. Küçük grupların kaybolmuş, geleneksel kültürün izlerinin silinmiş, sosyal rol ve statüler bireyin tercihlerine bakılmaksızın baskıcı bir biçimde dayatılmıştır. Arındırılmış bir toplum ideali adına sapmalar yok etme mantığıyla cezalandırılmaktadır. Dikey ve yatay toplumsal hareketliliğin imkânsız hâle gelmesi ve ağırlıklı olarak kast sistemine benzer sistemlerin hâkim olması, tek tip insan yapısının hâkim olması distopik romanlardaki sosyal yapının değişmeyen nitelikleridir.

Dystopian novels are affected by today’s political, social and technological conditions. This influence leads to a projection for the future. These novels often alert the readers about modern trends modern trends and the traps of contemporary society. This kind of novel is the opposite of utopia. So it has a pessimistic aspect. According to them, the future of humanity will be poor. Dystopic novels put forward that World communites will be reigned by central dictatorships in the future. And those goverments will convert the people to unconscious machine. There aren’t small social groups, traditional culture has been deleted, social role and status are distributed from a central location in the social structure of dystopian novels. The present social structure of dystopia is a remarkable feature in terms of the sociology of literature. We will consider the social structure of dystopian fiction novels within the framework of the sociology of literature method
