1997 yılı Mart-Ağustos aylarında Konya ekolojik şartlarında yürütülen bu araştırma, "Dinçer" aspur çeşidinde farklı ekim zamanı (15 Mart, 30 Mart ve 10 Nisan) ve sıra aralığının (30,40,50 ve 60 cm) verim ve verim öğelerine etkisini tespit etmek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Araştırma "Tesadüf Bloklannda Bölünmüş Parseller" deneme desenine göre üç tekerfürlü olarak kurulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda; tohum verimi, bitki boyu, yan dal ve tabla sayısı bakımından ekim zamanlan ve sıra aralan arasında istatistiki açıdan önemli farklılıklar saptanırken, tablada tohum sayısı ve kabuk oranı bakımından sadece ekim zamanlan önemli olmuş, bin tohum ağırlığında ise ele alınan faktörler arasmda önemli bir farklılık belirlenmemiştir. En yüksek tohum verimi (132.07 kg/da) 15 Mart'ta 30 cm arasında yapılan ekimden elde edilmiş olup, ekim zamanı geciktikçe ve sıra arası genişledikçe tohum veriminin azaldığı tespit edilmiştir.

This research was conducted to determine the effects of different sowing dates (March 15, March 30 and April 10) and row spacings (30, 40, 50 and 60 cm) on the yield and yield components of "Dinçer" safflower variety, in 1997 growing season (between March-August) under Konya ecological conditions. The experiment was designed according to the "Split Plots on Randomized Complete Block" with three replications. According to the results of this research; the effects of sowing dates and row spacings on seed yield, plant height, number of secondary branches and number of heads were significant statistically but on thousand seed weight weren't. The effects of only sowing dates on number of seed per head and hull ratio were significant statistically. The highest seed yield was obtained at March 15 sowing with 30 cm row spacing (13.207 kg/ha), delayed sowing date and wider row spacings resulted in lower seed yield.
