Bu çalışmada 29 Mart 2009 Yerel Seçim sürecinde televizyon kanallarının haberlerinde ürettiklerisöylem incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın uygulama kısmı, seçim propaganda yasaklarının başlamasındanönceki hafta olan 12-18 Mart 2009 tarihleri arasındaki seçim haberleriyle sınırlıtutulmuştur. Kanal D, Samanyolu TV ve NTV kanallarının ana haber bültenlerini esas alançalışmada, seçim propaganda haberleri aktarılırken kurulan söylem analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmadakanalların ideolojik yanlılıklarının ürettikleri haberlerin söylemine yansımaları tespitedilmeye çalışılmıştır.Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular, Kanal D’nin haberlerinde AKP ile ilgili haberleri olumsuzlayanbir söylemle aktardığını ortaya koymuştur. Buna karşılık kanalın CHP ve MHP ile ilgilihaberleri, haberin aktörlerinin söylemine paralel olarak yeniden ürettiği gözlemlenmiştir. SamanyoluTV (STV)’de ise Kanal D’nin tersi bir söylemle haberlerin aktarıldığı bulgulanmıştır.STV’nin, AKP’yle ilgili haberlerde, kaynağın söylemini destekleyen ve güçlendiren anlamlarürettiği saptanmıştır. Kanalın muhalefet partileri ve özellikle de CHP’yle ilgili haberleri olumsuzlayanbir söylemle aktardığı görülmüştür. Haber kanalı kimliğine sahip NTV’nin ise siyasipartilere eşit yaklaştığı ve herhangi bir söylemi güçlendirmeye yönelik bir çaba içerisinde olmadığı bulgulanmıştır.

In this study, the discourse which produced by TV channels in their news in the period of 29 March 2009 Local Elections was analyzed. The examination part of the study includes news presented between dates of 12-18 March before the starting of election restrictions. Channel D, Samanyolu TV, NTV were selected as sampling and the discourse produced in the news as a political propaganda vehicle was analyzed. In the study, news discourse which was produced by reflection of ideological biases of channels was analyzed in order to make clear. Findings obtained from the study shows that Channel D transfers news about AKP in the forms of negative discourse structures. Whereas, it was observed that news about CHP and MHP were produced in the compatible forms of discourse declared by definers of the news. Samanyolu TV transferred its news about AKP in the forms of positive discourse structures. News about AKP transferred by Samanyolu TV was formed to support explanations of news sources. It was found that Samanyolu TV used negative discourse structures in order to transfer or present the news about opposition parties especially CHP. With the identity of being an objective news channel, NTV could not try to transfer of reflect news about the parties in negative or positive discourse structures and also it was observed that the channel did not try to strengthen news discourse in terms of negativity or positivity
