A strategy for the analysis of the stability of reference points in deformation monitoring

Confirmation of the stability of reference points is one of the main problems in deformation analysis. The difficulty lies in the datum defect of monitoring networks. The method has been developed by Y.Q. Chen, Adam Chrzanowski and J.M. Secord in order to identify unstable reference points and successfully applied in a number of projects. Two period observations at the leveling network are analyzed using both this method and $\theta^2$ criteria method and the results are compared.
