SOSYAL SORUMLULUK: KAMU VE VAKIF ÜNİVERSİTELERİ ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN SOSYAL SORUMLULUĞA İLİŞKİN BİLGİ DÜZEYLERİ VE ALGILARININ ÖLÇÜLMESİ

Bu çalışma kapsamında, Türk Yükseköğretimi'ndeki öğrencilerin sosyal sorumluluk ve kurumsal sosyal sorumluluk kavramlarına ilişkin bilgi düzeyleri ve algıları ile sosyal sorumluluk derslerinin kavramsal bilgi ve bilinç düzeylerine etkisi ele alınmaktadır. Araştırmada betimsel analiz metod-ları kullanılmıştır. İzmir'de bulunan iki kamu, iki devlet üniversitesinden toplam 238 öğrenci üzerinde gerçekleştirilen frekans analizi ve spearman testleri aracılığıyla analiz gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın teorik kısmında CSR konusu kavramsal ve tarihsel boyutlarıyla ele alınarak bu konuda Türkiye'de gerçekleştirilen çalışmalarla ilintilendirilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında CSR, yükseköğ-retimde CSR eğitimi ve uygulamaları çerçevesinde ele alınmaktadır. Analiz sonuçları, Türkiye'de yükseköğretimde verilen kurumsal sosyal sorumluluk derslerinin CSR konusunda bilgi ve algı düzeyini yüksek oranda artırdığı sonucunu ortaya koymaktadır.

The existing study deals with perception and knowledge level of social responsibility, corporate social responsibility (CSR) issues and the effect of corporate social responsibility courses on their knowledge and conscience level about CSR among the students in Turkish higher education. The study has been carried out by means of descriptive scanning method. Frequency, percentage and spearman tests have been conducted to 238 students from two public and two foundation universities in İzmir. The theoretical part of the study deals with conceptional and historical level of CSR and related with the existing Turkish studies in the field. The article mostly handles the CSR with the framework of CSR education and practices in higher education. The analysis of the study reveals the fact that CSR courses has a great effect on CSR knowledge and perception of the students in Turkish higher education
