ÖZETSinema Kostümü bir senaryo eserinin sahnelenmesi açısından, seyirciye verilmekistenen mesajın doğru olarak verilmesi, çağın ve karakterlerin kişilik özelliklerini yansıtmasıgibi pek çok açıdan önemlidir. Bu yüzden gerçekleştirilecek çalışmada, sinemada çalışan kostümtasarımcıların mesleğinin gerektirdiği özellikleri belirlemek, kostümlere yönelik yapılacakuygulamaları göstermek, emeği vurgulamak, kostüm tasarım ve uygulama aşamalarında ne gibiproblemlerle karşılaşıldığını öğrenmek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma konusu, ‘’sinemada kostümtasarım ve uygulama süreci’’dir. Araştırmanın kapsamında, kostüm tasarım alanında çalışmakisteyen kişilere yol gösterici olarak ve sinemada kostüm hazırlık sürecinde yaşanan sorunlarınazalmasına yardımcı olacağı düşünülmektedir. Araştırma bilgileri, yerli-yabancı literatür tarama,internet ortamında yapılan araştırmalar ve kostüm tasarım-uygulamaları ile ilgili uzman kişilerlesözlü, yazılı yapılan görüşmelerden elde edilen bilgiler ışığında oluşturulmuştur.Anahtar kelimeler: Sinema, Kostüm Tasarımı, Kostüm tasarım süreci.ABSTRACTThe costume in cinema according to performing a screenplay is important from differentpoints of view. Such as transmitting the message to the audience, correctly and reflecting thepersonality properties of characters and the specifications of the age. For this reason in thework to be performed, determining the required characteristics of the profession related to thecostume designers working in the field of cinema, presenting the application to do for costumes,highlighting the labor, and learning about the problems to be fronted with during the process ofdesigning and applying the costume has been intended.The subject of research is ‘costume designand application process in cinema’. Under this research, it is contemplated to guide people whowant to work in costume design and its preparation process in cinema and helping to reducethe experienced problems in that felt.
