This kind of approach and sensitivity can be observed in Nawawî's very famousbook, namely Riyad al-Salihin. This article is going to present Nawawî's social, culturaland intellectual context. Therefore this study is going to clarify the background of hisbook. Then, the importance of Riyad al-Salihin's systematic writing will be introducedfrom the perspective of personal and social education
