Bu çalışmada, mobilya endüstrisinde yaygın olarak kullanılan ahşap levhaların farklı yönlerde soket-vida tutma yetenekleri araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla, hazırlanan toplam 140 adet numune ile ASTM-D 1037’de belirtilen esaslara uyularak statik yük altında çekme direnci deneyleri yapılmıştır. Deney sonuçlarına göre, soket-vida tutma performansı en yüksek kontrplak ile yüzeye dik yönde, en düşük ise yonga levhada yüzeye paralel yönde elde edilmiştir.

In this study, for investigated holding capacities of screw-nut on different directions for the wooden sheet materials. For this purpose 140 specimens have been prepared and tested tensile strength under static load following to the standart of ASTMD 1037. At the according to of the test results, the highest value of tensile strength has been obtained on the plywood with verticle of the face and the lowest value of tensile strength has been obtained on the particle board with parallel to the face of screw-nut
