Bu çalışmada; 1983 yılında işletmeye açılan daha sonraki yıllarda havzanın üst tarafına inşa edilen göletler sebebiyle barajda yeterince su toplanamaması sonucu 2000 yılından sonra planlı sulamadan vazgeçilen Kültepe sulamasında, optimum su kullanımı modelinin belirlenmesi araştırılmıştır. Planlı sulamadan vazgeçilmesiyle bakım hizmetleri tamamen duran işletme için, su iletim kanallarının kullanılmaz hale gelmesi sebebiyle proje sahası için öngörülen kanaletli şebeke esas alınarak araştırma geliştirilmiştir. Proje alanı için optimum bitki deseni doğrusal programlama yöntemi ile belirlenmiş, alanın 2000 yılı ve planlanan durumları için ekonomik analizi DASI programı ile yapılmış ve sulama sisteminin işletme durumu CROPWAT programı ile değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda; Kültepe sulamasında etkin su dağıtımı ve kullanımı için yararlanılabilecek sulama planlamaları verilmiş ve sulama alanı için alınması gerekli tedbirler önerilmiştir.

In this study, the determination of optimum water use models is investigated in Kültepe irrigation project area. Kültepe Irrigation Project are opened to irrigation in 1983, But because of the small dams constructed on upper parts of the watershed it hasn’t been receiving sufficient water for several years and planed irrigation has been given up. Maintenance services have stopped and conveyance canals have been destroyed and a new irrigation system is proposed for this area, on which this study is applied. The optimum crop pattern is determined by linear programming approach, the economical analysis for the year 2000 and planning situations are determined by DASI software and the operation situations of the irrigation system are determined by CROPWAT software. The irrigation scheduling for an efficient water distribution and water use are given in the study and some precautions are advised
