Isı tekerleği, döner hava ön ısıtıcısı veya Munters tekerleği olarak bilinen döner tip ısı değiştiricileri, büyük güç tesislerinde ısı enerjisi geri kazanımı için yaklaşık 60 yıldan beri kullanılmaktadır. Bu ısı değiştiricileri gelişmiş ülkelerde olduğu gibi ülkemizde de son yıllarda özellikle iklimlendirme tesislerinde kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, döner tip ısı değiştiricilerinin ısıl hesapları yapılmış ve kanal içindeki akışkan hızı (u), ısı değiştiricisinin uzunluğu (L) ve devir sayısı (N) değiştirilerek etkinlik ($\varepsilon$) ve basınç kayıpları ($DeltaP$) hesaplanmıştır.

The rotary type heat exchangers is known as heat wheel and rotating air pre-heater and Munters wheel that have been used for recovery of heat energy in great power foundation since about sixty years, hi recent years, this type heat exchangers have been used in air-conditioning system in our country as in many developed countries. In this study, the heat analysis of rotary type heat exchanger was carried out and the effectiveness ($\varepsilon$) and pressure drop ($DeltaP$)were calculated changing velocity of flow in duct (u), length (L) and rotational speed (N) of the heat exchanger.
