Bilgisayar ağlarının ölçeklendirilmesi ve ağlarda fiber optik teknolojilerinin kullanılması

Bugün pek çok bilgisayar ağı dolanmış çift tel veya ince eş eksenli kablolama üzerine kuruludur. Internet, intranet, yoğun istemci/sunucu uygulamaları ve uzak mesafelerle veri iletişimi istekleri bilgisayar ağlarının sınırlarını zorlamaktadır. Sonuçta ağların sık sık tıkanması, uygulama cevap süresinin uzaması ve üretkenliğin düşmesinden dolayı ağların ölçeklendirilmeleri gerekmektedir. Çözüm olarak daha fazla bant genişliği ve hız vaad eden fiber optik kablolamaya geçiş için uygulanabilecek yöntemler sunulmaya çalışılmıştır.

Scaling of the computer networks and using fiber optic technologies in computer networks

Many computer network is estabilished on the twisted pair or thin coaxial cable system. Computer network performance is limited by Internet, Intranet, workstation/server application and remote distance data communication. Network must be scaled because they often stop, application responce time increase, and productivity reduce. As a result, methods are introduced to establish the fiber optic cable system that extend the bandwidth and speed of the network.
