Karaciğer sol lob agenezisi nadir görülen bir anomalidir. Rektum Ca tanısı alan 65 yaşındaki erkek olguda metastaz taraması yapılırken Bilgisayarlı Tomografi (BT) de insidental olarak sol lob agenesisi saptandı. Ayırıcı tanıda post nekrotik siroz, safra yolu obstrüksiyonları, venookluziv hastalık, kist hidatik ve cerrahi rezeksiyonun ekarte edilmesi gerekmektedir. Karaciğer sol lob agenezisinde US ve sintigrafi tanısal yanılgılara neden olabilir. Kesin tanıda BT nin seçkin bir role sahip olgunu düşünmekteyiz.

Left lobe agenesis of the liver is a rare anomaly. A 65 year old patient with rectal carcinoma underwent Computerized Tomography ( CT ) for metastatic involvement. On CT examination, it was incidentally observed absence of the left lobe of the liver. The differential diagnosis includes post necrotic cirrhosis, obstruction of the bile ducts, veno-occlusive diseases, cyst hidatic and surgical resection of the left lobe. For left lobe of the liver agenesis, Ultrasound and scintigraphy could cause to misdiagnoses. We conclude that CT is a eligible method for final diagnosis.
