Bu çalışmada ölü nokta metoduna göre içme suyu şebekelerinin hesabına yönelik bir bilgisayar programı geliştirilmiştir. Ülkemizin bir çok üniversitesinin ilgili bölümlerinde anlatılan bir konu olan şebeke hesaplarının uygulaması için faydalı olacak bir eğitim aracı olarak düşünülmüştür. Hazırlanan program, GW-Basic programlama dili ile yazılmış ve bir ana menu ile yedi adet alt program, dört adet veri dosyasından oluşan bir paket programdır. Program proje ile ilgili debileri hesaplar, boru çaplarını seçer, basınçları hesaplar, ölü noktanın yerini kontrol eder. Bu hesaplamalar esnasında kullanıcı kendisi için gerekli olan bilgiye yardım pencerelerini kullanarak ulaşır.

In this study a computer program is developed to analyse the drinking water networks using the dead point method. The subject of applying the network computation is considered as a useful educational tool at the universities in this country. This program computes discharges and pressures of the water, determines the diameter of pipes and checks the place of dead point. The computations are carried out by the menu options which can be used for required information.
