Bu araştırmanın amacı Pamukkale Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği Bölümü öğrencilerinin öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarını incelemektir. 1997-1998 Öğretim yılının ikinci yarıyılında PAÜ Eğitim Fakültesinin Sınıf Öğretmenliği Bölümünde öğrenim gören 196 öğrenci üzerinde yapılan çalışmada veriler geliştirilen likert tipi bir ölçekle toplanmıştır. Yapılan istatiksel analizler öğrencilerin ÖSYS’deki tercih sırasıyla tutum puanları arasındaki fark anlamlı;öğrenim türü, sınıf ve cinsiyet tutum puanları arasında fark anlamsız bulunmuştur.

The purpose of this research is to investıgate teh attıtudes of the students at Pamuukkael Universıty , Faculty of Educatıon of Department of Primary Teacher towards teaching profession The sample of the research was composed of 196 students who were studyıng at Pamuukkael Univercıty , Faculty of Educatıon of Department of Primary Teacher in the second semester of 1997-1998 teahing year. The data was collected by an attıtude scale in likert type develeoped After the statistiıcal analysis ,students preferences about their department during the university entrance exams were found; schooling of diversy , garde levels and sexuality were not found different statıstıcally significant with their attıtude scores.
