Eğitimde bilgisayar ve internet kullanımında okul müdürleri ana ‘kolaylaştırıcı’ rolü oynamaktadırlar. İnternetten elde edilen kaynakları müfredat ile birleştirmek öğretmenin rolü iken öğretmenleri bilgisayarla öğretim konusunda eğitmek ise okul yöneticisinin görevidir. Seminerler düzenlemek, teknoloji koordinatörü işe almak, okul kültürünü değiştirmek vb .okul yöneticisinin ana sorumluluklarındandır. Bu çalışma, eğitimde internetin rolünün ne olduğunu, nasıl kullanılacağını, öğretmenin internet kaynakları ile ödev yapılmasındaki kılavuzluğunu, okul yöneticisinin klasik eğitimden bilişim teknolojisine geçişle gelişen görevlerini belirlemeye çalışmaktadır. Türkiye internetle eğitim şansını, müfredatları geliştirmek yönünde kullanmalıdır.

Principals are the main ‘facilitator’ in using computer and internet in education. Corporating internet sources with curriculum is teachers’ duty but training teachers about the necessity of computer aided teaching is principals’. Arranging seminars, employing technology coordinator, changing school culture ext. should be the main responsibility of the principals. This study defines what is the internets’ place in education, how to use it, teachers’ role in internet aided assignments, principals’ responsibility in changing education from being classical to computer aided, multi knowledge sources education. Turkey should catch the opportunity of education with internet in order to innovate their curriculums which have not altered for quite long time.
