The investigation of the influence of the transtheoretical model on women with low bone mineral density by their progress to aim the habit of continious excercises

Purpose:To increase the physical activity level and monitor the impact in case of continuously repeats by using Transtheoretical Model providing continuously training with women adults between the age of 40-65 with low bone mineral density. Materials and methods: In this study, 48 women with low bone mineral density attented voluntarily and individuals were divided randomly in two groups. Both groups had exercise with a physiotherapist for 12 weeks. In addition to exercises, the experimental group were educated with Transtheoretical Model. For the next 12 weeks, all of the participants were asked do the exercises at home. Various changes at the parameters were followed up Body Muscle Index, Strenght, Balance Test, Mini Mental State Test (MMSE), International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ), QUALEFFO-41, Stages of Exercise Change Questionnaire (SECQ), Metabolic Holter, SF-36 were evaluated at the start, in the third month and in the sixth month. Results: At the end of the study, a significant increase was observed in the study group (p
