Değişime karşı engellerin en başında statüko, yani “mevcut kurulu düzen” gelmektedir. Mevcut kurulu düzen içindeki pek çok aktör ve faktör değişimin önünde engel oluşturmaktadır. Türkiye’de siyasi, iktisadi ve sosyal değişim her zaman muhtelif engellerle karşılaşmış ve halen de karşılaşmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de değişime engel olan aktörlerin ve faktörlerin bir tahlilini yapmaktır.

Status Quo, in other words “existing state of affairs” is the main barrier towards change. Many actors and factors in “existing state of affairs” play a role of resistance. In Turkey, any attempt of action or movement towards political, economic and social change have always met with barriers.
