NESİLLER BAZINDA LİDERLİK TARZLARININ STRATEJİK YÖNETİMİNDE VİZYONA ETKİSİ: AİLE ŞİRKETLERİNDE BİR İNCELEME

Bu araştırma, aile işletmelerinde farklı nesiller arasındaki liderlik tarzlarına ve bu farkın şirketin vizyonu üzerinde nasıl bir değişim yarattığına odaklanmıştır. Araştırma verileri 1990 yılında kurulmuş olan ve iki nesilin yönetimi altında çalışan şirket çalışanları üzerinde yapılmıştır. Veriler, nitel ve nicel araştırma teknikleri birlikte kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. 2019 yılında gıda sektöründe üretim yapan bir aile şirketinin 124 çalışanı ile anket çalışması yapılarak liderlik tarzları belirlenmiş, liderlere bağlı 24 çalışan ile derin mülakat tekniği uygulanarak veriler toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda aile şirketlerinin kurumsallaşmaya yönelik aile üyeleri arasında geçirmiş oldukları yönetim değişiklikleri şirketin sadece mevcut durumunu değil, geleceğe yönelik hedeflerini içeren vizyonunu da etkilemektedir. 2. Nesil liderlik tarzına göre paternalist liderlik tarzı yerine daha dönüşümcü liderlik tarzı benimsemekte, kurumsal, sistematik ve teknolojiye uyumlu bir stratejik yönetim tercih etmektedir.
