Bu makalede, dünya insanının yaşadığı son acı olaylar da dikkate alınarak, barışın egemen olabilmesi için Mevlana gibi güçlü bir nefesin estirebileceği etkileyici soluğun neler yapabileceğine ilişkin bazı tespitler üzerinde durulmuştur. Öyle anlaşılıyor ki, Mevlana’nın aşkın dünya görüşü, günümüz insanlarını olabildiğince ‘farklılaştıran’ ve ‘öteki kılan’ modern seküler düşüncenin fikir formatlarının egemenliğine dur diyebi-lecek derinliğe sahiptir. Barış ve uzlaşı fikrinin yerine, olabildiğince ‘öteki’ kılma çabalarının egemen olmaya yüz tuttuğu çağımız dünyasında, Mevlana’nın barış ve hoşgörü eksenli yaklaşımlarına ne denli muhtaç olduğumuz son derece açıktır. Doğusundan Batısına kadar çoğu düşünür, sanatçı, edebiyatçı, siyaset, iktisat ve bilim adamlarını doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak etkilemiş bulunan Mevlana gibi büyük bir düşünürün, farklılıklar içerisinde bir arada yaşayabilme hedefine katkıda bulu-nabilmesi, tabii bir öngörü olsa gerektir.

In this paper, I will present some thoughts of Mawlana concerning world peace in our day when the world people have many unfortunate events, unhappiness, and uncer-tainties. It seems that the transcendent world views of Mawlana are the cure for our present secular world’s illness which cause people make “different” and “other.” When we have had such as world that whose basic character is to create “other” as much as possible instead of creating peace and consensus, we should understand that the approaches of Mawlana in the context of peace and sympathy is very important and clear. Because of his tremendous effects regarding his sympathy and understanding on people that today from west to the east many thinkers, artists, literatures, economists, scholars, ect accept that Mawlana’s thoughts are a really contribution the world people for the living in peace, justice and brotherhood.
